Manuals

Does anyone know when the items, monsters, and quest manuals here on forums as PDF files were last updated?

I asked the same thing in a PM to Gandolf a few days ago... No response.

But, there is a "last updated" notice in the corresponding forum for each manuel.

I think they're largely an individual project no one is currently spending time on.

I'd do it myself but alas.. I wouldn't know where to begin... Im still fairly low in level and they're simply unavailable for me to catalogue.

I noticed the wooden ring as well as a pair of boots called greater mage boots were added to the game, but not the manuel.

The guy who has them equipped frequents the fishing congregation in the begginers area. Maybe I'll SS the stats next time I run into him.

Its possible they may be updated once the new map is finished.

The one guy that has done most, if not all, of the monster/item/quest manual updates is our Admin El Majo. He has been very busy with other things lately so he hasn't had a chance to update them. I'm sure someone could do it, we've nominated him our manuals expert :) :)

The new map with new monsters, new quests, new items, etc was created by me. None of the new items were meant for release, but unfortunately some got caught during fishing. Just about all of the new items are obtainable in chests (there are about 50 or so chests in the new map & the dungeons under it). Hopefully, you will all have a good time, and I am fairly certain that no one will be able to complete the map in one day - or even two. My goal was to provide enough to do that players wouldn't go there, finish in a few hours, and then sit around waiting for another update. Hopefully, this map will take some time to complete.

As it should be.

A nice long in depth dungeon delve you have to work for is better than a quick in and out grind spot any day.

Its nice to explore the game and change the pace of things. As it is, there was way to much grinding in the Single player version. (Which I played often before starting the MMO)

When playing I usually look at the story line. Difficulty, Then the mechanics.. How everything functions and flows...replay value.
Graphics is negligible. (I still play the old eye of the beholder and kings field games from time to time) ::p:

50 chests??? Wow! I cannot wait. And I love Eye of the beholder ;) . The super nintendo still has the best rpg's ever in my opinion. Makes me want to go play Lufia, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Lagoon, and Drahkken right now.
