missing item bug found/extra invisible bag slots

Ahhh this is all irrelevant to this bug I'm just gonna get down to business.

Ok I found a bug that causes your items to seemingly disappear. But I fixed it.
Here is the story.

I had my bags full of potions and some other miscellaneous items, among the numerous potions is a magical bracelet that replenishes vitality. I like to swap it out in between battles to save potions.
I was in a maze full of Cyclops exploring and looting whatever I could. When I suddenly came across some valuable items, but my bags were full! So I threw out a potion on the ground to pick up the valuable item. Cool. So I hit the floating x to disintegrate the unwanted potion and moved on.
Found another item I wanted to loot , and threw out another potion picked up the item and then went to hit the x again to rid of the potion, but I missed! Well I thought I missed, well it disappeared either way. Ok cool.
So after exploring and looting I left the maze and found a gigantic flaming cyclope flying minataur beast. I decided to fight this amazing monstrosity to the death! At first I just toyed with the beast dodging blows and taking some hits to wear the beast down, then I struck with superior force! A magnificent blow to his weak spot ! The beast died valiantly as a mighty warrior.
The battle took its toll on me as well though. Remembering the magical bracelet that was in my bag, I put it on to regain my composure. After I was reinvigorated I went into my bag again to put on my ring but it was gone!!
I looked everywhere for it, on the ground, in the sky, even in my lovely pink boots. While I was looking through my bags for the ring I noticed that all my bag space was still full... what the hell, this is most perplexing, what sort of dark magic is this! Where is my preciousssss ring!
So after freaking out a bit, I moved on once again and gave up on my precioussss.
I went to hone my skills on numerous monsters, the battles were intense and one of the prey dropped a shiny item! But once again my bag was still full, but this time I was in a battle, so instead of throwing out the potion on the ground I drank one to make the room for the item. When I tried to pick it up I was notified that my bag was still full. Ok whatever, so I drank another potion. Picked up item, notified bag was still full!! Wtf is going on here! Ok ok keep calm just keep drinking pots until I can get it, another potion down the hatch, finally success! Item was put in my bag.
By this time I was wondering what the hell was going on inside my bag. I wanted to look but was kind of terrified to do so. But I did it anyway of course, after all I am a brave hero am I not!
So I opened my bag and there it was ! My precioussss!

So apparently my bags somehow picked up those potions I thought I got rid of and my ring was behind the pots because of the swapping. Even though my bags were full. Have fun recreating that bug.

I hope I am reading this right as I am pretty sure you are just recreating a known bug, duplication of potions. It has been in the game for quite some time and it hasn't been able to be fixed.
