Lvl 40 mage help

I need lvl up advice. A friend tanked me to lvl 30 or so and gave me 5 mil. He said mages spam mana. Since I've Polly spent a couple mil on mana pots alone. I've now got the best gear for my lvl except the robe since it's in app purchase for dark robe to craft diamond robe. Almost every point has gone into mana. Except a few for armor. I feel I'm doing something wrong.

I do not play a mage but I have read posts where others have said that u should put all points in mana until level 100. After that put 20% of your points into armor also. Hope this helps. You may need to grind red vlads, blood mummies, or yellow archers for awhile. Again, I do not play a mage so maybe someone else will respond with better advice for you.

Ryaca's advice on stats is true as far as i know.
Good things to kill for each individual level set are:
20-40 - Blood mummies, Yellow archers
40-100 - Vampire vlads, warlocks, crocs
100+ - Trappers, crazed lions

I may be slightly wrong but i am pretty sure!

At lvl 40 your mana isnt enough to farm ranged mobs because they can hit you so youll need to heal.

Thank I've since made it to lvl 50. Now I have a different issue. I've done all quests I can think of. Liar kid included. I'm stuck on 3 kings and inn keeper quest where ya gotta bring him 3 heads. I've got the heads and 2 kings. But neither inn keeper or king in marteks castle will talk to me.
