missing items

missing items
I'm not sure what has happened but I am missing items from my pack. I collected all the mithril tools from the dungeon on map 4. Now the pic-axe and hammer have disappeared from my pack. I don't know what else has vanished but these two stand out.

There is a quest that requires those 2 tools, and does not return them.

Mad is correct and those are the two tools that are required for that particular quest, and as Mad said - they are not returned. I believe that quest is in the dungeon with the big blue cyclops.

I also thought it was a bug at first but no it's a requirement of a quest
