Enchanted Ring Quest

There's an orc in lower right corner of map 4.0. he wants a wooden ring. I hear he also wants 750m to enchant it. I have 2 rings and the gold but he won't talk to me anymore. Is my quest messed up or does he want the exact ring from chest. Also have a friend who didn't know about quest and sold ring. Anything that can be done about that?

You must have the quest before you can remove the ring from the chest, so it is not possible to obtain the ring without knowing about the quest. And yes, you must retrieve the ring from the chest before the orc will finish the quest for you.

Ty hobbit. I ended going back in and trying my luck on more orcs n finishing. After I met a guy who knew right keys. Is there a place yet with new quest info?

We are short handed in the staff department so the quest, monster, items manuals have not been updated yet.
