Fishing with treasure hunting

I reeled in a mitril plate today, easy gold but what am I using for fishing line. So I thought instead of random items why not a message in a bottle. The message could have coordinates that we could go to the location and dig up treasure to receive our random loot. Could also add maps as rare drops from monsters. A step further maybe different color bottles for higher level drops. For example
Clear= lvl 0-100
Yellow= 50-250
Blue=200-500
Green=400-1000
Red=1000+
This would also open up a new market for in game trading, almost like a lottery you buy bottle without knowing what your getting. Just a thought.
