Doc Oc
I didn't know you too well, but, I did enjoy the chats we did have.
I am very sorry, for your losses, even though, I don't understand them; I do have, a bit of understanding for your comments; I have been in similar places in the past.
I hope, you will return one day; you did bring some things to the game and forum in your own ways.
Also, I hope, you will continue your story at some point; it does not seem quite finished.
Anyway, good luck to you; I hope, you find what you are looking for, but more importantly, I hope you find what you need.
You trusted me and you said to me apl your accounts. You were a great "friend".
i stopped playing because I also found someone whom I love anđ I had to stop running away from life.
I don't know you, but my best friend died, around 7 or 8 years ago. Lost count, but I remember the date, if needed specifications. I too was shocked, I was closer to him than I was with even my family. I did feel horrible, but for some reason, didn't shed a single tear. I'm an atheist, but I ran to the prayer room when I found out, at 4am. Around 6am when I went to his house, I found a bracelet thing I'd given him 2 years prior to then. Guess all I could do at the time we contact his friends and his girlfriend.
You get over it with time, you move on, you forget about them most of the time, out of sight out of mind. You remember them a few times a year, and reminisce the good times. Other than that, just takes time and you need something to keep you busy. Working on real life is highly recommended. Gaming is fine, but that'll end in a couple years and it won't help you after that. Keep yourself busy at work, find new friends, hobbies, etc to fill the void & in time you'll get over it. Was 8 years ago. 9 on this July 23rd.
I had some new friends who's chatter kept his memory at bay, and then found this amazing game called Parallel Kingdom to eat my time.
