Perhaps there could be a way to obtain level 1500 weapons and all level 2000 gear.

I guess maybe this should have been thought through a little more before fishing was nerfed. I understand a new update takes time but fishing was changed quite awhile ago and still no update to be able to obtain high level gear. Maybe the eggs were counted before they hatched. Maybe someone pushed a little too hard for the change before all the ducks were in a row.

Totally agree that they need to be made available - but for whatever it's worth, I'd argue that it is far better to have them unavailable in the meantime than to have them flood the game by giving them away for free

Agreed. I think in a shop. Maybe the one on the map to the left of the inn?
