Names on every building

Names on every building
I have recently come back to playing this game a bit throughout the day, and I've noticed that just about every building has a name on it. Can anyone explain to me why that is?

Mortimore(95). Mage
GraveDiger(81). Death
Setrith(50). Sword

I believe what you're referring to are houses that have been purchased by players.

There are some changes in the game - such as private houses - which are going to give you some interesting time exploring
