Clan name forever?

When a clan completely disbands, can that name be created by someone else or is that name not usable anymore?

It can be recreated. Its still usable after a clan is dropped completely.

I can confirm this.

My alt is duke of clan [MAD].
However, the clan name was originally taken; at that time I could not have it.
When I saw a post from the duke, stating he disbanded the clan, I immediately hopped on my alt and created it

I can confirm this as well. After local lost clan OG to SAVAGED, SAVAGED eventually lost the clan due to a glitch. I remade the clan OG, and then gave to a trusted friend. Local didn't want it back. Lol

So are clan names case sensative? For instance, if the clan that I belong to is called, "ShdW" could I create another clan named, "shdw"?

Clan tags are case sensitive. Anyone could make a clan with a similar tag as your own clan and attempt to destroy your public image.

Actually, I think the system may have been changed recently.

I cannot verify this yet, but I think that the clan tags can no longer be similar; as in, case sensitive.
I've heard some things, nothing confirmed yet.

I cannot test this; maybe someone with more power can.
