I just want to give a idea of how it can be added to game as craft.
2k helmel: 750 helmet + 1 light sting
2k shield : 500 shield + 1light sting
2k plate : 500 plate*1 + 1 light sting
2k pants : 750 pants + 1 light sting
2k ammy : 750 ammy + 1 light sting
2k bracelet : 350 wooden bracelet*2 + 1 light sting
2k boots : 100 boots*3 + 1 light sting
2k gloves : 200gloves*4 + 1 light sting
*1 If you want to change the 500 plate for 750 please make 750 plate dropeable
*2 Same as the plate, if you want to change make that item dropeable please
*3 I choice 100 boots but you can change it.
*4 If you want to change gloves for the 400lvl make it dropeable please
All this items will have 30% of chance.
They will be hard to get.
This is only a idea you can take it or not

Perhaps a new blacksmith for this in a "harder to get to" location would make it more appropriate. A demon on island, perhaps, could be the way. Naturally, a player would have to be 2k to craft 2k items, in order to maintain the current balance. Also, the selling value of the materials used should exceed the selling value of the 2k items (900m), factoring the failure rate in, in order to prevent a massive gold influx into the game.
Altogether a good idea, if well thought out and implemented well.
Also, I think the difficulty of getting 750 boots would make them perfect for making 2k boots.

Totally love your idea Dave but I would maybe change it just a little bit. Because all of the 2K equipment are connected to the name of a GM maybe add one more ingredient to the recipe. Something that might have reflected that GM. For example take the Cleopatra mask maybe add also a pharaoh spider exoskeleton ^_^

Agreed on all previous posts. The difficulty it takes to get lightning stings will make it balanced as well. I have still not been able to attain a sting by grinding bees and I am level 2778.
