Yesterday, I went grocery shopping.
It was less busy, due to the time of day, and week, but there were many people there.
I had FT on my mind, and I was looking around a lot and thinking.
I see people from all sorts of heritages and walks of life, all around me.
Some born here, some not; some with English as a second (or third, or whatever) language.
All sorts of accents, skin colours, clothing and hair styles.
Even saw a woman with bright pink hair - and another with a nice shade of blue-ish purple.
I realized how grateful I was.
As Canadians go, I am very poor. But that does not bother me.
I look around, and I see so many going about their daily lives, all living peacefully.
Chatting with each other, some joking, some comparing food products.
I'm very fortunate - to have such diversity available to me - so many different ideas and ways of thinking...
Such a wealth of knowledge.
And the food - oh the food - we can get as there are so many different types.
But we all had one thing in common - we just wanted to live, and peacefully.
I'm glad I've grown up and live in a place where everyone is different. I think it makes us stronger, and better than we would be otherwise.
I hope, that such an experience would be available to all one day.
In the meantime, we have FT, where the world can come together and have fun.

Re: Grocery shopping in Canada
I will try to write my reply on this bcuz i find this very interesting
And sorry for my English but I will try.
I really like how you describe your daily trip, and im glad you sharing your thoughts on what you see and feels.
I also wish everyone could see this blend-culture in a positive way.
I Was born in the Philippines in the big Manila and moved to Sweden when I Was 9 almost 10 years old (1993) due of the poverty. The amount of inhabitant living in the city of Manila then, was the same amount who lived in Sweden throughout the country. Was like 10m inhabitant back then and almost the same today. Little fact lol
Yes i was young then and yes I learned Swedish language kinda fast and yes I learn how to intergrate in the Swedish culture. "BUT" untill now its hard sometimes. I dont wanna talk for other Swedish country men. Im just trying to describe how i saw thru my eyes when I was growing up in a new country, sometimes I met "white" one individual looking into me, the first thing they noticed was my "Brown" color skin (just to be clear, i dont wanna call it rasist). Sometimes i get afraid of people when they look at me, like if i was a trouble maker bcuz of my color, "Until" i open my mouth and speak fluent Swedish, and i can see they changing their behavoir afterwards and its very sad, but exist even today. Iknow in my mind that people get afraid of the "unknown" so it doesn't bother me anymore.
FT have many benefit in many ways.
I like the FT world bcuz of the same reason many of us using it for, to help us conect in a game, and it doesn't matter what religions or colors of the skin, i've seen it conect people to be better persons and thats amazing. I met so many friends and im happy for that. So im thankful this game exist and im glad im back again helping players. And i wish everyone should take apart of the rules because that also conect us in a good way.
I Hope everyone have a nice day.
