Some things are worth dying for!
If you're window shopping at Blitzbee and can't handle the bugs, run to the guard by the shop and let him deal with em. That's what he's paid for.

TBH.. I think I did not finish the start map today.
I got a late start - I was up at 400 am for server restart.... but I didn't get my GM account until 6 hours later.
Add to that, I've had a few issues to deal with...
..and I haven't had any time to do some additional research yet into ID#s for various things I wanted in place this weekend.
...Maybe tomorrow, some more may be added.
Today, I will add some more too - I'll be in game shortly.
EDIT: I only added 4 spawns to start. I know that's not enough. Meant to expand more.
If you notice, I cleared a large area of bushes, trees, and other obstacles...

But the coolest things are not added yet.

True, but with a 6-pack of bees - he wasn't enough :)

LastNight I cranked up LostKnight (is that a pun? naaaa?) and went warlock hunting until a mage(xxx) parked himself between me and the spawn spot (again) and started sucking them up a 6-pack at a time with his magic from a safe distance. So I left and went red mummy hunting. There's two mages in the upper left with pets both (xxx) sucking up red mummies like crazy {sigh} on both sides of the walls.** One had a black name, so I left there as well, no sense in irritating an outlaw.

I visited the dungeon under Silverwood City Castle, so what is it Silverwood City or Silverwood Castle?, and killed three cyclops for the first time alone. YEEEE HAAAAAW!!!!

Then I came up one lvl in the dungeon and did mass murder on the skeletons spawning there from the "stand here - we will auto spawn spot I found" - they keep coming in three groups of 2 - so 6 at time, with a second or so between the groups of six. No need for health potions.
During the night I went went from lvl 88 to: Show

Will change signature tomorrow ... JUST BECAUSE, if ya wanna see it ... see it here!

======================

** This is one of my biggest pet peeves about this game as a new(er) user. That I simply have to learn to live with because it looks like ZIP is being done about it..
Ranged attacks can go through seemingly solid objects!

For as much as I've seen people complaining about this in the forum since 2013. Nothing has been done about it and I think it is GROSSLY unfair for a couple of reasons.

1 - I have to be face to face with an enemy to kill it with a blade (club, axe). I can't attack through walls.
BUT in this dungeon under Silverwood, arrows and magic spells can go through concrete/stone walls. Meaning they can attack a heavy mass of enemies and have NO FEAR of even being hit, let alone killed. This is fair? IMHO: NOT!

2. - Why do these people have that advantage and believe me they use it to suck up other peoples spawns all the time. Yesterday, there I was with 8 red mummies around me attacking, and I'm doing quite well at killing them, up comes an archer(+1000) on the inner wall and from the safety of having a wall between him and the mummies with 8 shots killed those mummies around me. Had I been GOLGREN, and could do it, I would have smashed down that wall and killed the (cough COUGH cough choke).

To me this is a gross injustice in the game, to favour "long distance players" in such a manner. Someone on the forum said; well consider that the walls are only three feel high. REALLY, take your character there and stand by a pillar that is "supposedly" holding the ceiling, it's taller than I am as a knight, which means so are the walls. His answer is just so much {whistling a soft tune}, he's probably a ranged player I'll bet.

Well, somewhere between yesterday and this morning I caught a bit of a cold. Headache that won't quit, a nose like a leaky faucet and a few joints that ache. Soooooooooooo

Will be off line for a bit ... bummer and just as the undead are coming. BUT RL first.
Off to bed ... will rotate between sleep and play offline FT. IF all goes well, I'll be back Wednesday or Thursday.

If I'm on my deathbed, well, it won't be THAT drastic, I will be here for the 31st though! Wouldn't miss that for all gold in FT world.

Rest, hot toddies (hot alcoholic drinks, for those who don't know what a toddy is), are much better than antibiotics.

Get well soon… LostKnight x

Mon 23 Oct, 2017 @ 10:38 to now didn't even turn the computer on. This is the first time in over 5 years I've caught a cold and the first time in forever the computer wasn't turned on for the day. Pretty well over now except for the cough, that will stay with me for a week or so. Forty-five years of smoking has left it's mark on my lungs that 8.5 yrs of not smoking has not cleared up, and probably never will. Doc said a portion of the bottom of my lungs are dead, not smoking has recovered a small part that was damaged but in all he figures I got about 60 to 65% of my lung capacity from looking at the x-rays.

Ahhh hot toddies and "gluwine" (German so not sure of the spelling) remember them well, but not an option. Having drank my way through the first 20 years of my working life, I'll leave it to your imaginations as to the trouble I got into, the mess I made of things and the regrets I had/have. But 32 years without a drinking means no hot toddies here. However thank you for the good thought.

Tried playing the off line game but just couldn't concentrate ... went to sleep. Was sweating it out the first night but when my temp hit 39° (109°F) my wife called in a doc, gotta love house calls. So Tuesday morning off she went to the drug store and loaded up, cough syrup with codeine, and something that looks like a horse pill it so dam big to help keep the fever down.

So here I sit, exhausted, tired - from sleeping since Monday but no fever. OK, that's a lie, I got up, yesterday afternoon, stretched out in my computer chair and watched 2 movies on TV ... falling asleep by the end of the second one, I hit the pit once more and woke up at just before 12 this morning, must have been a good 18 hours. And this kid normally sleeps 6-7 hours a night.

Ahhhhhhhhh horse pill time ... the big pink one! (not red but at least it's not a blue pill)

Horse Pill
Door #1 - the story ends
Door #2 - I'll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes

I'll take Door #2 Morpheus

Not the best week for you (that's understating it somewhat). Hope the magic pills sort you out.

Aw, man, hope you feel better quick.
Yesterday's event in the coliseum had drops - up to level 250.
A shame you missed it.
Today's event is on start map, and again, is meant for new players.
Take a peek if you can get on the game for a few minutes ;)

..I think it looks good...
I'll post pics in a little while.
