@ MadMikael
- Thought I found a mage(78) to give the Mystic Gloves (100) to and was walking by, BUT he stopped, did "The Hulk" pose and killed all my enemies I had spawned and was doing my thing with ... and then he walked on ... obviously without the gloves. And of course there were a few colourful comments on this side of the screen. His mother would not liked the things I called her son, but then again maybe ....
- Next: a mage(68) was "tanking" for and "healing" half a dozen lower level players on the plains of Silkwood. Watched him for a little while than dropped the gloves on him before leaving.
- Also found a knight(58) that was helping a couple of other players (tanking obviously) so he became the recipient of my old lvl 75 gloves.
- Every lvl9 axe I had in my backpack last night got shared with as many lvl 0-5 players as I could find.
@ all
Went to the red mummies dungeon, that will be my last time there. OK good coin with the 37k Earth Robe, but it's a constant fight for space in that place and with the "long range" players working both sides of the walls and using pets to suck up bloodmummies ... not worth the hassles.
So, now I'm in search of better hunting grounds, re-discovered the witches sister's hut up north - OH NICE: Earth Legs lvl 120! Grabbed those ... went down into a cave and started killing multicoloured ghosts and skeletons - I can just handle one ghost and 2 skeletons when I have to run - hide and heal. Was doing my third set when some University graduate came running by. Al least I guess he was a graduate, as had a title in front of his name and a what looked like the year he graduated after (ie: 1968) and his degrees following that. He was being trailed by two pets and half a dozen ghosts and a few skeletons. "Just" made it up the stairs and was 'almost' healed when a "worm" got too close for comfort ... ducked back down ... and was just about finishing off the second skeleton when the Graduate ran by again, trailing another entourage ... just made it up the stairs ... OH CRAP! that worm was patient, bite me: DEATH! I want a half dozed of those as pets!!!!
Someone tried to sell me an Amulet of Old (100) - 30,000,000 OK, maybe that's a going price but way too rich for me, have to build up my cash value first. Have to stop "giving" stuff away and start selling stuff.
OH another thing I've noticed since hitting the big "100"
- the number of invites to join this or that clan have increased 100 fold, and
- "spam selling" --> "Bobby wants to sell you his Plastic Soup Spoon" for 10m, 20m 50m 100m 150m
- - it's incredible! Do people think lvl 100 comes with a few billion in gold?
OK, time to lvl up and buy supplies for lvl 150
If you see me, stop and say "Hi" - I don't bite but I smile a lot!.

Re: Newbie Gamer Intro.
This thread is always a great read.... I never miss it.
I'm glad, you found homes for your old gear, and stuff you couldn't use.
I hope, your adventures will continue, and your attitude spreads
There are, quite a few good players in this game.
I wish more read the forum, they'd sure enjoy this.

Re: Newbie Gamer Intro.
Thanks Mad ...
Now a quick question ... I'm exploring, I have made it to the lighthouse twice only to be killed just outside by killer bees . GRRRRR
And I've died exploring other places ... I notice experience dropping like a rock. Seems dying is a way to loose experience faster than gaining it. What's the rule of thumb as to how much one looses when one dies?
I'll be back to lvl 0 if this keeps up
Just found out a friend has quit the game, ROxxxxxxx(84). Says it's always the same thing, that just keeps repeating over and over. Sent a PM saying no not quite .... time will tell
I see others from my early days that have been friends are gone as well ... built up to the 70's and "blink"

Re: Newbie Gamer Intro.
Ahhhh you found me and filled me in nicely. I only had to buy a few things after that. Left me "almost broke" but I have a everything I need for lvl 120 (Earth Legs), and 150. My lvl50 amulet will have to do until lvl 150 because I doubt I'll be able to kill any blue devils, let alone enough to get past the 0,1% drop rate, without help. When through that maze with some heavy duty help and still died three times ... and of course in the end I asked to be killed.NightBaby wrote:If you see Secrets or NightOgre pm me and I'll be happy to give you some gear free for all the help you give to others![]()

AHA! But I know who I am now ... don't tell my wife, she'll never believe you!

There's a saying out of Cape Breton Island, Canada, I'm quoting an old friend from 1985, I hope life finds her well, she deserves it:
Always be who you is,
never be who you isn't.
Cuz' if you is who you isn't,
you isn't who you is!
Thank you again Nightbaby - will remember!
Oh ... wait ... I better write that down ... it's an age thing ya know.

You cannot lose levels due to experience loss. I believe if you die that you lose 10% of your total experience but that it never goes below zero and takes levels from you...

Re: Newbie Gamer Intro.
I was actually joking about loosing levels ... but the EXP points is a given ... 10% sounds about right thoughRyaca wrote:You cannot lose levels due to experience loss. I believe if you die that you lose 10% of your total experience but that it never goes below zero and takes levels from you...
