Daylight Savings/Standard Time

Post by Humble_M »

Usually, I get the server restart warning each morning at 4:13a CST (10:13a UDT). With the time change this past weekend, no server restart. This makes me wonder if the server changes time or not. anyone know?

DST is different in different parts of the world.
Where the server is located, they changed time a week ago, Sunday.
The entire week, I was 5 hours behind, when I'm usually 6.
In North America, the DST change was just this past Sunday.

The scheduled server restart occurs at 10:13 FT time (use /time to see FT time).
This past week, it was at 5:13 EST time (where I live).
It should now be back to 4:13 EST time; so if you live in CST, I think that's an hour after me?
If that's correct, you should get the restart at 3:13 time.

I think the server restarted normally today - but I'm not positive.

Thanks!

If it's now at 3:13am, I have no worries...I'm playing another game at that time!

Don't know why people just don't use FT time in all conversations about the game. Or put a "clock" on your screen for Berlin time.

BINGO! Now you always know.

Shows clouds (updated hourly) shows day night (updates every 20 min) and time (updates on the second) and weather.

Must add "FT World" - maybe with small blue portal somewhate south(ish) of London, England and west of Africa in the Atlantic. Maybe "Atlantis" too, put that in Bermuda Triangle some place.

Weather stopped working - must remove that code.
