Castle Blacksmith

I finally gained access to the West Castle.

I picked up the blacksmith's quest. Is it worth my time and effort to give him a mithril plate and fire plate? Can he craft anything which I can use? I'm a mage (lvl 300)

He'll give you a Chaotic Plate +2 for your efforts. You may then bring him additional Chaotic Plates that he will enchant for 300m gold. Not a high priority task for a mage.

Forgot to ask, any earned experience for completing quest? Or, just the item and future possibilities?

You get xp for bringing the Fire & Mithril plates. Sorry, but i dont remember how much (if you're 350ish you'll probably level up). No xp for enchanting additional Chaotic Plates.

I guess the +2 plate might bring you in a nice bit of gold when selling.
