Well, I always used the bee skin, so you an safely say the blitzbees were kinda named for myself (yes, I know it's a wasp, not a bee lol... I never cared :p )

@ blitzcraig
Your skin, your name! In the TF World there are honey bees, wasps and blitzbees
Wasps pay homage to the Blitzbee! Bees quake at the sight of one!
Me? I use a fly swatter on them!

bee
n 1: any of numerous hairy-bodied insects including social and
solitary species
WASP
n 1: social or solitary hymenopterans typically having a slender
body with the abdomen attached by a narrow stalk and having a
formidable sting
Now while they have "with many more remaining to be described" we have one species less then them to describe, hense the:Wikipedia wrote:Hymenoptera is the third-largest order of insects, comprising the sawflies, wasps, bees, and ants. Over 150,000 species are recognized, with many more remaining to be described.
Females typically have a special ovipositor for inserting eggs into hosts or otherwise inaccessible places. The ovipositor is often modified into a stinger. The young develop through holometabolism (complete metamorphosis)—that is, they have a worm-like larval stage and an inactive pupal stage before they mature.

BLITZBEE
n 1: The deadliest of the solitary hymenopterans having a slender
body with the abdomen attached by a narrow stalk and a poisonous
formidable sting that kills in less than a second. This species
can only be found in FT World.

A new day and a new guess: da hobbit.
His forum profile pic sort of reminds me of a mushymen.

still the right track, but still no :p
Like the others, it's not a random thing; it does make sense - and there's a fair chance to understand it by the name alone, even if you never knew the player

Ok - so is SouthernSun a longer version of SSN? I wonder if the capital 2 x capital S are significant?
Edit(keeping that guess on the table): or Silverstar, for much the same reason?

Re: Fun Facts: then versus now
Was the original SSN(mage with rat skin) before it was sold involved in the creative process?
BOO!
