New special skin method

I really like Ardesia's new special skin post.

I can't think of any reason that this new method will be a bad idea.

Please feel free to post here if you have any constructive criticism about the new procedure.

The issue as it stands is that the only people who know about the new procedure are the ones who have read it on the forum. If you don't use the forum then you won't know what to do about the special skins.

Turning a negative into a positive - if we make the forum an active part of the game, then ideas like this will hopefully encourage more players to use the forum as they will otherwise be missing out on things.

Nothing is better than, when a player reach 1.5k and to resive his first special skin. WOOOW Amazing feeling .

Special skins are a reward the staff decides giving to good players. It can be noted in Special Skins description that level is not the only requirement. One has to be in good relationship with the game community. We are not giving special skins to known troublemakers, scammers, proven autoclickers and so on.
To be certain a player asking for a special skin is not also owning an alt character in one of those unfortunate groups, we need some time for checks. This cannot be done while in game. By receiving requests in forum, we can evaluate them

As a collateral effect, more players will reach the forum, and while waiting for an answer they also might read around!
Yes, a lot of them are not aware of the new system so far. They will, next time they will ask for a skin in game and will be told "request for it in forum please"

I completely agree with making it a forum request first, simply to increase forum activity.

You can make an account within 5 minutes, I just tested it yesterday (honestly within 2 minutes, took me 5 only because I had to remember an alt email's password)

From start to finish it literally took me 5 minutes til I was ready to post. Ofc they gotta have administration approval at first.

The only thing I'd feel for players is that if for some reason or another government Internet censorship didn't allow access to the forums. I don't know how likely that is, but I know it's technically plausible.

It'd suck for someone if that was the case, but idk how you'd be able to get proof of something like that.

Regardless I support this, and Leone all you'd have to do is just tell them to go to the forums to request it first. I'm really glad to see a big forum push lately. All ya gots to do is log out, look down to the forums button, and tap/click it.
