I've had several players asking me to check how long till they can join a clan

I tell them I won't do it

Then they beg and spam friend me

Any1 else run into this

I think it's a scam to join a clan

Ouch ....

I would suggest you to report players name who spamming this request in the game, so it's easier to remember thoes type of scam next time (if that's should happen).
That include further evidence if need for later

If you want to pm me the name of the player, it's all good .

I had a player do this one time. He found his timer at 48 hrs immediately afterward, and my clan was 500k richer. Let them try, so long as you're watching...

If they join my clan while my duke or lord isn't on I'm screwed as I cannot kick them

Marshals can kick members, unless that mechanic has changed. I haven't been on much, so idk.
