But on my third attempt collecting the materials - planks, steel and mithril. Someone swarmed killed my shop pets (I don't take The Twins in there). Not one purpose I'm sure he was probably looking to escape. And the second one was almost full. So Mith is the slow part. 23 carbon and 35 iron at a trip isn't so bad BUT I only have an 11% chance of success at making the thing.

Yesterday was and on again off again kind of day. I found myself out shopping with my wife, real interesting things like perfumes, hair dye, shampoo, nail polish, face creams. But if it means out of the house time with my wife then I'm all for it. Then the usual things; making coffees, mates (its a drink here) lunch and dinner and the dishes a little cleaning here and there. You know LIFE!
But during the day I tried a little experiment. People talk about making gold crafting. Well certainly not making Astral Robes. My experiment was done in two parts. Depending on your "Trades" levels your 'Chance of Success' will vary?
PART 1: Make Mystic Shields
- 30 Attempts
- Chance of Success: 21%
- 1 Death Shield (free) + 4 Steel Ingots (free)
First I grabbed 30 Death Shields and then comes the running back and forth between the carbon and iron mines, making Steel Ingots is a 100% so no points there Of the 30 attempts I made 7 shields for a 7m gold profit. The 22 fails are also a success as my crafting items exp's goes up.
PART 2: Make Astral Robes
- 30 attempts
- Chance of success: 31%
- 30 Forest Robes (30,000,000 gold)
- 30 x 10 (+4) mana pots @ 400 each costs 120,000
- plus the 100 to get into the castle (did not bother counting this in, but it's there as a cost)
Since it involves buying the items this went MUCH faster. And when all done I had made 8 Astral Robes that sold for 16m gold.
For a loss of 14,120,000 factor in the 7,000,000 from the Mystic shield part and the days lost was 7,120,000
Think I'll stick with Mystic Shields when I have lazy days.
