yes this is the problem now, is that you cannot reasonably set a limit lower than the top current account, otherwise you're giving an unfair advantage to that account

But I think you've hit on the a reason that I can agree with regarding level capping.
However, what about the guys/gals that now have levels in the "high" 4 figures or 5 figures, if those exist?
That paid for them, cant take them away.
Obviously not.
The highest level players are approaching 11k last I saw.
And others are on their heels.
If a cap is put into place, the longer it's delayed, the higher that cap will have to be.... and potentially the more upset the players will be.
and if players get too high, buiding stats will need to be adjusted. Imagine a 30k player destroying clans like he was Godzilla

This is also another strong point, brought up elsewhere as well.
Buildings are capped.... players are not
IMO both should be capped at a point where they can be balanced with each other
Lost knight its not that hard to get to 1k grinding lvls. It just takes hard work. I spent alot of time building i would probably at least be 2k if not higher by now. But i have been playing a few years i guess
Have you ever seen a Mac-11?
