I have an idea:
We only have so many buttons around the attack button.
That means we're limited in what potions we have available.
Why not allow players to drink a potion from their pack in the same way they equip gear or activate a purchasable item?
Cheers

Re: Improving potion use
I like the idea, but considering that the game mechanics have no way to rearrange items without dropping/picking up, what happens if the needed potion is not on the 1st screen? It takes a second or two to locate an item, plus time to switch screens AND close the backpack screen. Death could easily occur during those 4-7 seconds!
It's good to be the king!

Agree with you both:
1 drag and drop in backpack
2 10k hp pots

This would be a part of GOOD PLANNING. Making sure your potions are early in your inventory would become a basic strategy point.Humble_M wrote: Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:31 pm I like the idea, but considering that the game mechanics have no way to rearrange items without dropping/picking up, what happens if the needed potion is not on the 1st screen?

Re: Improving potion use
Something like this wouldn't have to be for PvP or PvM use. Say you are a swordsman with health and unfreeze pots showing on screen, but you also have speed pots in your bag. You can only have two showing (after getting all skills at least, though I never checked at lower levels), so to use speed pots I'd have to dump all my health pots or something like that for speed pots to move up.
Sure, there is planning involved and risks some ways over others, but it'd allow more flexibility in non-dire situations. Poor planning is on the player.
As an alternative maybe you could select items for the buttons regardless of where in the bag(s) those items are.

Why not a button like in the Offline version, Tap it and if you have more than one kind ... they display, could be use for mana too.
