boggles my mind that people can find out stuff like that.

I mean how can one know the jade pendent is an only 1 per account thing?

I just curious and wanting to learn.

It was updated this week.

Now, the idea that it is only 1 per account is slightly incorrect, but for most, you may as well say it is correct.
Mages are entitled to 2 normally (that quest gives you a class based item).
They are rare drops from the Werewolf and Pharaoh which are in the game, but may as well not be, as 99% of players will never get there IMO. It was a good idea to have such a boss room, but the levels in FT are far too diverse to make it practical.

The Ptery- no idea. Either this is on a map I've not reached yet, and/or is part of the unreleased map(s) coming.
I opt out of the testing chats as I don't want to see spoilers ;)
But that mob was not there last week, so it is definitely in one of the new maps.

the lvl 500ring and amulet needed for crafting a quest item using emeral and ruby are listed as dropped by sorcerer,ghoul and forcefield wizard. one of each van be found as well
as far as i know these monsters ate not in game (i dont count these boss rooms since they are not feasable if you dont play on the busy hours).

thevresult is that the ones who can get them are 2type of players:
1) those of very high lvl who get them from players (lv500ish). i refuse to call it pvp if a lv 5k-10k kills a lv 500ish for its items.
since the drop chance is limitedthey have to kill lots of playets though.
Adding such ibgredients for crafts to game without having them drop from existing monters basicly encourages high lvl players to kill much lower lvls. therefor the lower lvls are xxxxxed twice. first they can only get one try to craft and second they are likely to be killed for it if they succeed or wear the ingredient.

2) those who buy the items for real cash. surprise. it happens.

again a nrw examole of pay to win. pay for item or pay for loads of lvls.

the problem with the itemfile is that some items have been listed at drops by monsters for several years. and these monsters still dont exist lol. althoug changes are speeding up so there might be hope.
for instance monsters dropping the 500amulet and ring might bevplanned in hobbs next update which continues quest.

Oh... So I guess hoping for them to be released soon won't be something to necessarily look forward to for a while 😛

Yea the problem with that is those two item are actually needed now for a lot of players to continue the current available quest. Before this update not everyone was informed they need to save the jade amulet and ring for a quest. I had 2 of the pendants and crafted a 750 amulet one craft failed and as for my enchanted ring craft both failed. I'm sure there is many more in my shoes that these items should be droppable or craftable before they are required to be a quest item.

if you find a quest item which cannot be acquired in game, please share that information... it is either an oversight (which would then be corrected) or you're mistaken (in which case you'll be told that it is available) or there are plans to have it added very, very soon ;)

EDIT - I'm not sure how the GM team feels about this, but I would even consider that to be something to share as a bug report so it does not get overlooked (I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong lol)

My only point is that due to the two jade pieces required for the alters can not be gathered for this purpose if they have already been used for crafting so many of us are stuck because it seems to me this part was not fully thought through. No disrespect but if we can not get more of these items now while we can still proceed this part of the quest then these items shouldn't have been selected to be a requirement for these alters.
