Well, I made myself a mithril axe already... and then realized I should have waited before getting the miner's gear put together!

u need picks and hammers for that lol. only need axes far later inside the mine (and death worms will try kill u using it).

Me and crafting have a failed relationship. Pun undoubtedly subconsciously intended there... I think I'm up to like 15 failed crafts in a row now, give or take. Talk about having my will crushed!

I might take a break from that and grind for awhile, then hit the 250 quests when I can. The need for crafted tools will certainly be waiting for me!

the real fun starts with breaking tools in the quest.

in trying to open the room where rubies are im currently at

17failed crafts for mitril hammers
9 successes in crafting/buying them but trying to open the room failed and those hammers were lost lol.
the room is still closed.
.PS i have got offers to help make those tools but stangely enough im having fun with it and im gonna succeed doing it by myself some day.
(I do use a dwarf-alt for mining though)
