Break the Magic Quest

Post by Humble_M »

Hmmm...maybe I missed doing something?

I spoke with Proditor after the artifact's vanishing trick. I've gone to the creepy stranger, the lost son, nelrogg - no one will speak with me :(

I'm level 552 (so not an issue). I've completed the 7 altars quest

Quests in log include:

Break the Magic...
Find satan's heart
Hire 10 miners
Bring 750M to orc
Bring Boots of Soul and Hobbit boots
bring 3 spectre staff and apprentice warrior rings

Basically, everything BUT quests for the main story line! As I said, after the artifact disappeared from dungeon maze, I spoke with proditor, who said "we'll call on you when needed" or something. I killed a few black mages, but proditor never had another talk bubble. so, I took the portal and left.

FYI - I'm level 552,, so that shouldn't be a factor

ok, so if I'm thinking clearly right now lol...

break the magic is part of the "main" storyline, which is not completed

Proditor is part of the "Hero" questline - you may need to
: Show
talk with the rebel on the map outside the snow cave, then NELROGG
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's right if I'm understanding where you're at correctly

Funny, I was in almost that same situation yesterday. I hit 250 (yay!) and headed towards Proditor where... absolutely nothing happened. He stood there just staring at me. The graphics don't show it, but he was watching me the whole time with a smirk on his face and I know it. Leave and [spoiler] and he suddenly wants to talk to me? He gets what's coming to him!!

It doesn't bode well for me that I never actually beat that game... I'd just hand the controller to my older brother at the needed time!
