If it gets out of hand I will personally ask a GM to close the thread, if they have not done so by then.

Keep it light ... but honest. Can be about "anything" except: politics or religion or some other "adult only" related subjects.
To any GM: First comment on politics, religion or "adult only" related subjects, please, don't wait, don't ask, just shut it down.

But keep in mind, the tools he requested were for the npc miners, not him...
Maybe he knew that npcs are not the most reliable
