Extra info on outlaws
Was just hoping for a bit more detail on outlaws, as the manual is a bit vague.
After 5 unprovoked attacks on non clan members one becomes an outlaw. Does non clan members in clan maps count towards those 5, or is it fair game to attack anyone? Does killing outlaws unprovoked count?
Is there a time frame for the 5, like per week, or is it just 5 whenever?
As an outlaw, is there any cons other than being attacked by anyone, and being sent to another spawn location? Higher chance of dropping gear for example. I assume its still safe in the starter zones?
Im only asking now because ive finally lost my rag with mages waltzing up to me and kindly taking over my spawn locations, using me as a meatshield and taking everything. I could just about see the smug look on his face after each wave slaughtered as he followed me around the map(until he got what was coming to him). Its not uncommon for it to happen either, so i foresee more dead mages in the future.
Not really a fan of pvp, but id still like to know what im getting myself into.

Re: Extra info on outlaws
There are good mages, and there are bad mages. But when a mage decides to take over "your" spawn there isn't much you can do about it especially if he is more than the -3 levels lower than you.
Had one do that in the castle (Map -1.-1) Parked his Ghost Archers beside my Fairies and created a spawn where I was standing and then sucked them up with his "multy-kill" spell. I see on the top of the screen: "Go!"
Now there are 4 rooms on that floor, and the other three were empty. So I leave, go to the room to the right of the exit. Position my pets and no sooner get a spawn going and I see this {......} exiting the castle.
OH and no, killing outlaws, to the best of my knowledge, does not add a point to outlaw status. Also id they attack you, doesn't count.
Points are, again to the best of my knowledge: forever.

Re: Extra info on outlaws
LK is correct, but I feel more details are requested, so I will try to explain it as fully as I can.
Outlaw points never expire.
Killing on a clan map does not increase outlaw points.
Killing clan members while in a clan does not increase outlaw points.
Killing outlaws does not increase outlaw points.
Outlaw respawn map is NOT a safe zone, unless close to a shop or NPC.
Drop chances (at this time) do not change while outlaw.
Any kills committed while an outlaw (in or out of clan, provoked or not, even another outlaw) resets the outlaw timer of an outlaw.
Unless a GM can verify a change, these are the details as far as I know. If you notice any of these details acting otherwise, report the bug to a GM.

I usually move, and in this case there was only the two us in the whole area. But he figured it was easier to kill what i spawned and followed me around the zone. I got fed up, hurled an axe and he dropped, rather quickly i might add considering he was 20 odd levels higher.
I actually felt guilty even though he had it coming!

I'm not one for PvP, but can't deny at times wishing a rogue pack of high level mobs would appear and give people what (I really wish) they (would) have coming in those situations...

By the way, nice idea. Both hands up. Let the droping chance be 90%.

They'd walk around naked with a weapon, and maybe a piece of "undroppable" armour if they had one!vlad198401 wrote: Tue May 15, 2018 9:39 amBy the way, nice idea. Both hands up. Let the droping chance be 90%.![]()
