I am occasionally reminded, far less now then then when I was 100lvl, how greedy, self serving and why I really detest most mages.
I was kindly helping a 43 lvl swordsman(I'd never met prior to this moment) gather up archers(3,1), he wanted a bow drop. It was clear to me he was a very young player.
I had gathered around 20, and he was gleefully and slowly killing one at a time. Along comes a 62lvl mage and watching for several moments, asked if he could participate, before the young one or I could respond with the answer he already knew, he killed the remaining dozen.
It's funny, those types of players are never in a clan
There are a thousand instances exactly the same since I started playing and are almost exclusively mage related.
I write those players names down, I have a long list and our paths will cross, many already have, many likely don't remember there cruddy behaviors.
Good deeds should be rewarded and evil deeds, a special reward!
While I personally enjoy playing a mage, I detest the type of behavior you are describing, Khmer. I (myself) only intervene in pvm to either heal, or kill the mobs to save a player. While you and I have butted heads from time to time, I applaud you taking the time to "remind" such players as you have described of past "issues". If you don't mind, I'd love to help with your list. I have low accts I save just for such. This could be fun.

I'll say that I do detest the mentioned behavior, though it's certainly more the player than the class itself. True, an archer can't walk by and snuff out a huge group all at once, but other classes stop walking and let their pets mop up or park their pets on you when you're spawning too. Whether that is as often as players wiping out mobs with a mage (many times getting no worthwhile xp) is probably up to debate.
On the other hand, many thanks to mages healing and strengthening armor as they walk past as well. There are certainly many nice, possibly anonymous players out there as well!
