It's time for wiki.dmgamestudio.com
Maybe It's time for wiki.dmgamestudio.com
I think the game content is big enough, to create something like wiki or wikia or other knowledge base on wiki engine. Players will fill it with usefull materials. I'm newby player, and i'm allready hate PvP, questing and control of game, but it's so... So... this is like addiction. I need more!

Nice idea if someone could snap their fingers and it's done.
Consider this.
A publicly maintained wiki soon becomes a nightmare, as Bob adds something that Tom doesn't like, so Tom changes it or just deletes it.
And that's "if" you get enough people that want to maintain the wiki.
The GM staff is already over taxed with work, and it would take someone with intimate knowledge of the game, and 'wiki' software to maintain it properly.
Not a light undertaking.

This is a great idea
It wouldn't even add to the GM workload since Wikis are community-based. I think quite a few people would contribute to it if it were to come to light.

I agree, regarding it sounding great that users would do it, until you consider how well that worked for urbandictionary.WARBRINGER wrote: Mon Jun 04, 2018 10:40 pmThis is a great ideaIt wouldn't even add to the GM workload since Wikis are community-based. There would likely be a section on "the rules" or something to that effect, and that would undoubtedly light a firestorm. Take a gander at some of the "you're not being objective and reasonable; only I'm being objective and reasonable!" arguing in various threads and think about how those things would work out in a community-moderated wiki...

Re: It's time for wiki.dmgamestudio.com
Don't get me wrong, I think it'd be awesome to have a wiki page. There is so much information out there and it could be a very convenient reference, so I'd personally love it for that purpose. There could be user-submitted information, but I think submissions and changes would need to be moderated.
