The Summoning Potion should not be drinked, because of its atrocious taste.
In order to use it, a player pours it on her/his head: all of a sudden the Summoning Potion starts emanate its scent - horrible to humans, irresistable to monsters - turning the player in a auto-spawn point; a moving auto-spawn point if the player walks around.
Yes, ogre players could also like the smell - lucky them! If they drink it, it will not work.
The Summoning Potion summons monsters that normally spawn where it is poured.
It is sold in magic shops in three sizes (Few, Many, Crazy) depending on how many monsters the player wants to summon.
Its effect lasts for a certain time, to be fixed - as soon as the scent vanishes the summoned monsters feel deeply sad for the loss and die.
To prevent players pouring it and run around to spawn on other players, monsters summoned by the Potion's smell will be so bewitched that they will attack only their Potioned one.
The effect of Summoning Potion is magically washed away by map borders: leave the map and stop smelling bad. Summoned monsters so abandoned will be desperate and die instantly.
I am aware this Potion could arise problems for other players in the map, but wished to share the idea anyway, in the hope that brainstorming could better define details.
I am uncertain if the effect should be on a persecond ratio or related to player's level and I am aware that limiting spawned monsters attack only the Potioned one could arise implementation problems.
