When you look in a tower to take more items out of it (wood/stone), the game doesn't regularly refresh your backpack so the game thinks you're backpack is full when it isn't; so you can't take any items out of the tower unless you check your backpack first.
This has been a problem for a very long time now :-/
"backpack is full" bug still hasn't been resolved :-/
