The light tower on 1.3

The light tower on 1.3
Not sure if it is a bug or I do not have the proper stuff but when I try to enter the light towner on 1.3, I get flashed to another spot. Is this normal.
I started playing Sep /01/ 2012 .. . Still here ..

No one can enter the lighthouse tower so far.

Who's gonna brave those bees to use it? Lol. I think I read that it was eventually supposed to be for a dungeon map or a quest of some kind. Can't recall where though.
