Hi! I got attacked by a lvl 2 today... no big deal. Attack back, and... why is my character just standing there? Try again... nothing... what am I doing wrong?

Also, whatis the penalty from dying? What is the reward? Thanks in advance!

Did you "target" that player?

Penalties from dying:
* Transport to start map (0.0) - This is the only fact you could also count as a "reward".
* XP loss
* If you die in PvP there is a certain chance that you lose a piece of gear (except weapons, purchasable items like black robe and items crafted from purchasables and pharaoh plate) to the player that killed you.

to fight another char you need to click/tap on that char and ten tap on the 'crossed swords' icon in the small menu that pops up. this marks a character as a target. by default no one is a target except monsters.

That explains it. I was trying to help him figure out his problem this morning (cst) and let him try to atk me. We had identical lvls.
