Key question

I bought the unknown key and used it on the locked door underneath silverwood city. The key did not disappear from my inventory. My question is this. Do I have to carry that key with me every time I want to go back in that dungeon?

inside that dungeon u may get 100 lvl plate and 100 lvl axe.

Those items are in chests. The red cyclops drops the lvl 100 helm, though it is a rare drop.
