Drop rate percentages

As I look over the items list, I notice that most of the items have a drop percentage of .01%. In my opinion, there should be no items with a drop rate lower than 1%. It is not my idea of fun to have to grind a mob for 3 hours just to get them to drop a specific item. It would still be hard enough if items were a 1% drop rate. Fishing I believe is fine at the current drop rate percentage of .01% and I believe it is appropriate. I do not however believe that if I don't click on an item caught while fishing fast enough that it should "slip off of my hook" and not go into my pack. That is absurd. The drop rate for fishing already makes it hard enough to catch anything as it is.

The lowest drop rate on items from monsters is 0.1% = 1/1000.
You must have been mistaken.

Thank you Arachnia for clearing this up. I still would like to see lowest drop rate at 1%

This would devaluate the rare items a lot.

Good point Arachnia. Maybe some items do need the rare drop percentage. I just feel like too many items are considered rare. A good example is the level 100 shield. A level 100 player will have a hard time killing 1 snow dragon let alone 1000 to get this item. I usually see this item given to players or sold. Another example is the pink boots that drop from huntresses. A level 75 archer would have a tough time defeating 1 huntress let alone 1000. Some other examples are the level 20 solar amulet that drops from trolls and the level 40 one handed sword that drop from Amazons and the 100 club that drop from Stans and 100 bow that drop from Ghost archers. These are examples of items that I believe should not have the rare drop percentage rate. This is just my opinion though. I don't know if others agree with me or not. Just a suggestion.

The Amazon drop is lvl 30 sword. Just a minor detail.

There are a couple of issues here. About the % drop...a slight increase on standard items would be nice. It keeps gp in the game for lower lvls and encourages retention of players.

And fishing? Well the most popular meeting point for fishing is the spawn map. Why? I'd say its for trading, pvp safety, chatting, speaking to mods and finally fishing. The other bonus of fishing is rare fish but that's it for me.

So I agree about the %drop here as well.

Lvl 30 sword dropp rate from amazons is way too low for a lvl 30 weapon and you can buy the other lvl 30 weapons from shops.

Yes and there is also some item's that are not drop we should get them only from fishing that's impossible i would like too add new item's drop from monster's and increase drop rate instead of that new map full of chests
