"Clear the rubble and save the boy" quest

Post by Humble_M »

I picked up this quest, but got distracted and didn't see the bubble that said where to go. A point in right direction is greatly appreciated.

I've explored everywhere in the same map. All I've found is lots of trappers (most I can kill) and lots of huntresses (none that I can kill). I'm clicking on structures and what looks like ruins (just south of the fenced-in mine), but nothing.

You would have received the quest near the Huntresses, and you were right on top of the quest (hint hint) when you were killing trappers.

I normally play with zoom out to max setting (so I can see more screen). Is this a case where zooming in would be beneficial? Also, just to clarify your hint, I should check in areas by mine (toward top left corner of map) and also just below the river?

Below the river and to the right, there's the NPC that gave the quest.

Zoom would have nothing to do with it. Have you been inside the mine?

no. I tried to enter, but get message that mine is closed. If my level isn't high enough, shouldn't it say so in the message?

This is the perfect "locked room" puzzle! I can't walk around the rubble. I've tried to position myself under the rubble to mine. I can mine the stone to the left and the stone near the portal. I changed my zoom, thinking there was something to pickup that would help - but didn't see anything. I'm missing something...
