War dogs

Is there any reason why I cannot buy two war dogs from the trainer? I have one war dog. No other pets.

You can only buy one war dog at a time - The other pet must be purchasable with real money or from the mage shop in -1,-1 (I think the right coords) to buy a second pet - Warning: You must buy the pet from mage shop before the war dog.

Yes, I believe he is worried that you are not capable of properly caring for more than one dog at a time - or perhaps he's concerned you are starting a dog fighting ring...

I really think it's an unnecessary limiting factor, after all if both pets can be purchased with in game gold then the purchase order should not matter

If you have a purchased house, you should be able to store the first wardog and then purchase another from the dog trainer, and then remove the other wardog from your house. This also works at the pet shop if you have a purchased house. This allows you to have to of the same pet purchased with in-game currency.

I find the cost of ditching pets every time ya want to grab a couple siege engines adds up quickly.
