Approval for forum posts

Is there any way to become a "trusted user" and be able to post direct to some forums without having to wait for forum mods approval?

PM Gandalf about this. I literally just had to do the same thing. Apparently we weren't put in with the cool kids automatically so teacher has to put us at their table manually :c
