I believe that people tend to store a lot of information on their devices close to maximum capacity and have numerous things running on them at the same time. For instance, I know someone that always has many apps and internet pages open while they are doing other things and they complain that their phone runs slow. Also, I close everything before I begin playing and I clear my cache for my apps at least once a week. I also delete my browser and cookies cached data from my phone and tablet every week. Furthermore, I make sure to turn my phone and tablet off often. The internet suggests turning off your device at least once every 3 days. I don't know if this helps or not but I have to believe that if these things are not done and good maintenance is not performed on a mobile device, that this would result in a device running laggy and slow. I'm sure that some of the lag is from the game also but maybe some is from the mobile device itself. I always see players complaining about lag as if it is only the game causing the lag. Not once have I ever seen a player suggest or admit that it could possibly be their device contributing to the laggy atmosphere.

I do all of these and still lag, tablet and phone.

Not all the time, but frequently enough that it's frustrating especially when spawning.

I'm ocd about lag, I do everything possible to make my devices operate as smoothly as possible.


My main "lag" complaint although I don't think it's lag but something to do with the game engine, is when you start spawning and your screen /character jumps all over the game map. It takes 5-6 steps to sync back up, and is frustrating when you can't see where you are standing, pet health, anything. Most places its fine to just spawn through it, but other places I need to count a specific amount and if the spawn doubles during a glitch, there goes my pets.

Another thing that helps is to not download a bunch of stuff on your main game device such as music, videos, other apps, and pictures. Also, turn your phone off or restart it once a day. A lot of ppl that I know have way too many things downloaded to their devices. Just an example, on my main game device I have no other apps or music or pics taking up space. I mainly use it to play FT.

It really differs for every device.
Typically, you can find this stuff in the settings menu, then look around for something that pertains to apps.
But your best bet is to search for your device on the net, with "how to delete cache" or other keywords, for a better explanation.
If you're lucky, you'll find an official manufacturer's site; or perhaps a how-to faq on another.
Just be wary of unknown, unreliable sites.
