Not sure if this is a bug

Every time I try to open a door or chest and there are enimies around i automatically att them instead of going through the door or opening a chest.

Unfortunately, not a bug.

The attack button and the open chest/use stairs button are the same - an ACTION button, if you will.

There is a possible work around though, that works better for ranged classes, but works for melee as well.

Unequip your weapon. Quickly, grab/use whatever you're trying to get or use.

Don't forget to re-equip your weapon!
