Best pet gone

I heard creator removing ogre pets and all other spell resistanse pets. Its not fair that other players who reached lvl 500 had fun with ogres leveled all the way until new pets (Worms), while now the ones who just reached there expecting ogres and now they gone. Ogres is best pet for the ones between lvl 500-820. All sudden they are gone. They do alot of dmg but dies very easy wich makes sense and pretty balanced. I am very angrt about this and i sure hope game creator and admins consider bringing ogre pets back or something similar.

I also have been eagerly anticipating getting black dragon pets as I am almost level 3000. I was going to buy levels to 3k,but not if black dragon pets aren't available. Figures, every time I reach a milestone in the game, something gets taken away just before I cross the finish line.

Here is a compromise. Why not keep the pets just remove the damage or spell resistance. In effect have "pet' versions of the monsters.

I'd still like to see a list of which pets are no longer available. From recent forum posts, I can see that it includes:

Ogre halflings
Black dragons

Could anyone add to this list?

Why does magic resist even matter if it is a pet? Damage resist I see, but magic resist?? Ogre halflings have magic resist, but tell me a place someone with ogre halflings would grind where spells would be used against them? Taking them away simply makes it harder to catch up to the bullies in game who can afford to buy hundreds or thousands of levels. Many cannot afford pets or levels already and work hard to grind gold to buy them off others instead. But how will anyone be able to grind properly or fast enough to reach any goal??
