Axe won't cut trees....

I have my awesome Great Wood axe in my backpack. I need planks for a quest.

However it won't cut any trees down ??

Is there special areas where one can cut and not I've tried areas like 0.0 where people cut a lot. Right around the crafter's shop.

Nothing. Help appreciated.

If you need I'll meet you at map 0.0 and give you a axe. Try with that one. A tip from me is go to your settings and turn off tap to move and turn on joystick display. It may help you get right on the tree. However what you attempt to cut on cannot be small bushes it has to clearly be a tree. I'll be at map 0.0 shortly just post in open chat lordserh and I'll find you. Or quickly tell me your character name while I'm on forum so I'll know who to look for.

I made the same mistake when i first tried fishing lol...

Doesn't happen with mining or fishing thought - maybe its a bug/feature. {chuckling here}

EDIT, Wrong need to "attack" to fish too.
Maybe it depends on the xX value?
