Craft for the Witch (M 1.-1)

The Witch ask you to help craft some magic items for her.

Diamond Robe
- 2 Forest robes
- 10 diamonds

+1000HP
- 1 +50HP
- 5 wasp stings

Astral Robe
- 10 +4 Mana
- 1 Forest Robe

So I collect enough to make 2 of everything ... go to the witch and craft
Diamond robe - success
+100HP - success
Astral Robe - failed
Astral Robe - success

But the witch is still asking for the same things - what have I done wrong?

Does one have to have "success" on all three first time?

I believe those are just crafting options that she will allow you to craft for doing earlier quests for her much like the blacksmith.

P.S. look at how much that astral robe sells for vs what you paid for the forest robe.

Yes, I realize I can sell those things, but she is asking for the same three things to be made again ... is that all there is, if so I don't need her to make those.

On another note. When I craft astral robes I just about double my money. Even when I don't have many successes I still end up making more than I had before purchasing forest robes.

Mind you have to buy many forest robes for this to happen. I just about fill my pack with them (almost 80 slots) when I craft at my house.

Yea agreed a successful crafting of an Astral Robe means just under double your money but the diamond robes are a disaster at a loss of 1m not counting the time it took to get the diamonds.

You need 11 slots just for one try at an Astral Robe. 10 +4Mana and 1 forest robe. Where do you put 800 mana pots?

I store the robes in my house and make multiple trips to marteks stronghold to buy mana pots.

That's why I purchased my home so close to marteks and the forest robe shop.

My craft is currently level 6 and I am planning on dedicating some time to get crafting up to level 7.

YEA! well, doesn't work so well with Item Crafting Level: 3 {good place for a cheesy grin}

Astral Robe
- 10 +4 Mana @ 400 ea = 400x100 = 40,000
- 1 Forest Robe @ 1m each = 10 x1m = 10m

10,040,000 yield: 1 @ 2m = That cost me 8,040,000

I want to make money not loose it
Tried selling a lvl 250 bow ... not even a nibble!
I don't even know what the going price in on it or some other stuff I have.

I'll get there, just time right and effort - right!
There is a way to lvl Items Craft points, only involves time - time to mine, time to craft and no $$ involved.

Mithril Shield - 93% chance of failure. Materials are free, so it's just time involved.
