House - can they be moved?

I'm wondering if a private house can be moved.

I'd like to have mine moved but not sure if it's possible.

From this rock to that rock type thing.

Well, I'm pretty sure it is possible, but is it a game policy that they can't be moved?

Has anyone ever asked before?

Possible? Yes.
Likely? Probably not.

Only one person can accomplish what you're asking - compbatant himself.
I've suggested to others with similar thoughts - if you want to move, you'll need to ask him.

Now, if you want to expedite the process, pick out a new location, do the pos and screenshot thing or whatever

When you send him the request, include it as your desired destination.
The answer will either be yes or no - but if it's yes, he'll likely do it and tell you it's done.

Keep in mind, compbatant is busy, and may not get back to you asap... so make ABSOLUTELY SURE about this before you initiate it that you want this.


If this type of thing catches on, perhaps an actual procedure may be put in place... until then, you'll have to ask him.
If any problems arise, you could try contacting him again (which could take time), or you could try contacting a GM.
The way the system works, if there's a small typo, your house will seem to "disappear"... it's not really gone, it's just you don't know where it is (or, you can't access it).
I would think though, that this sort of moving would not be allowed for shared/traded accounts... and perhaps, a one time move per account? I don't know... if compbatant does think to allow this sort of thing though, it may end up becoming something you have to work with GM to do, and eventually, perhaps request officially via PM or maybe an official thread like the skins one..
