Stat reset woes

Posting this as a bug, because it kinda is.
When resetting your stats, it's a bit difficult to get exact numbers - sure you can work around it with careful math, but it's inconvenient.

The main thing is - your stats to add overlap your current stats, making both numbers hard to discern.

While it's not gamebreaking or anything, would be nice if it were augmented so this no longer happens.

I get around this by checking my DEX, before talking to the wizard, if that's what I'm changing and it usually is, and do the math.

Hit DEX numbers and add what the math result was.

Hit STR: add any I want here

Hit ARM: +999 BINGO! done

But yes the over lapping numbers are confuzzing to say the least.

By careful addition, you can figure out what the number is, yes.
The most basic example would be adding 1 dex at a time until the number you can see changes.
In my pic above, you can see the number is 14x... one-forty-something....
By careful addition I finally deduced the number was 143... adding 9 is another example...
143+9=152+9=161+9=170+9=179 ahhhh so now I add 1 to get a round 180, where it's easier to figure out what number I want to add to get my target dex

As I said, it's not a game breaker, just a hassle that doesn't really need to be.
I wonder how bad this could be for someone with k's of levels
