Does anyone know why do many players have BR either before or after their name

Informal fan club of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" song undoubtedly. "Slight" margin for error on that theory...

If in doubt, go with LostKnight's reasoning. He may not be right, but if you're in doubt you wouldn't know that either! :)

I say that because I had a couple of players: "name_BR" speak to me in Portuguese.

That's most likely the case. I played a game once with a large contingent of Filipino players who used similar name marks.

Yes, players from Brazil will often do this with their in-game names as a way to share camaraderie. TBH, I think it's kinda cool lol (oh, and also yes, they generally speak Portuguese)
