Bees and Artifact Advice

Post by Humble_M »

From what I've heard, there are lightning bees surrounding the artifact. Since I won't bring pets, I had an idea: reset my stats (after leveling), then place enough skill points on dex so it equals 511 (not counting gear) and then put the rest on arm. As a mage, I'll have mana from gear which I can use to slow enemies, although I'll have zip to kill anything. That's the plan, anyway.

Does my idea have merit or should I beg someone to tank?

I love the plan - really clever 👍

to be honest though, there's a simpler way do deal with the Lightning Blitzbee - huge spoiler here - consider seriously whether you want to read it or not... the game is more fun finding ways to do stuff yourself ;)

Seriously, make sure you want this... your way is more fun ;)

You can walk around where it spawns and avoid it altogether, if I'm remembering correctly, basically go right then down... it spawns kinda below the entrance of that cave

ya you can avoid the bees. one tip try to stay close to walls to avoid spawning lightning blitzebees.
but eventually u would spawn some minotaurs or lava golems or spectre wizards or fairies. so u need be careful..
and should be able to kill them if needed. slowing them wont work so much because eventually they would spawn more and more as u walk and there's no place to hide there in that map. Although u can try logging out if u spawn too much.

since I won't put any skill points into mana, I really can't fight anything. my goal is just to get the artifact.

I like your suggestion, @death. I should have enough HP to survive the 11sec attack runoff if I log

Does anyone want to mention there is more than one quick dash from the entrance to the alter needed? Oh, well, since I just did be careful however you handle it! ;)

That would be good to watch;

TheBlitzTank allowing another to make a beeline to the alter beefore the Lightning BlitzBees kill him. :lol: :lol:

That was "fun". I managed to find the altar, even find 2 flowers...but couldn't talk long enough before every monster found me.

So, my plan may still work...but I need ability to kill enemies and survive. Catch-22 at it's finest
