To PvP or Not to PvP ...

Imagine FT with another option when "creating" a character
Forgotten Tales by default is a PvP game.
Choose the following option wisely it is not reversible for the character you are about to create.
[*] Check to turn PvP off. - This means you can not join a clan.

The first time this is compiled into the game and a player logs in with an existing character it shows as a pop-up screen, but JUST ONCE!

Choosing non-PvP will unclan your character if you are in a clan.
PvP lovers have their game, non PvP lovers have their game.

And choosing to be a PvP player doesn't mean you have to join a clan ... kind of like it is right now!

Both groups will buy pets, houses, and all the other extras.
And live happily side by side.

The alternative is to buy PvP protection for €1 a week. Less than the price of a coffee…

So we are penalized by €52 a year to protect us from people who love to PvP and steal our gear.

What not charge €52 a year to players that want PvP?

I don't like PvP either, but I don't agree that we're being "penalized"... the fact is that PvP is kinda the base of most mmorpgs, and we can purchase IAPs to opt out.

I totally loathe PVP. i would absolutely support the idea of Turning PVP ON Or OFF.But there are some Pitfalls
Players will abuse it to maximum extent..
They would just create many Zero levels account with PVP off and use them as heal blockers in PVP.
Or Some players clan not to PVP but just to mine and build and craft. They have no interest in PVP. I mean if they have PVP OFF then they can't join clan(they will be forced out of clan due to PVP off). so they can't craft any longer.
Alternative i would Suggest make PVP protection Buy a one time thing or at least it works for a year..
So that anybody doesn't want PVP would just buy it and stay out of it.
Once per year €1 is quite cheap.
The current PVP protection for 1 week has no use at all. I mean who wants to keep buying every week? not many. why spent €1 every week on pvp protection instead of spending on levels.
If it is once yearly i am sure many players will buy today itself including myself.

I think the best idea is to remove the HealBlockers !

I have a mage and i was often in such situation that 1 player attked me and the others cant, but they r staying there beause i can not heal me !

That must be removed i think !

I dont know how but that is prolem for mages !

here its about $1.5. , which is about a fifth of a daily wage in the area i live. that would be 8hours of working in the fields under the burning sun.

it shows that you have to be careful with these comparisons.
if the price of pvp protrction was a qurter of daily wages in western world you probably would find it very expensive.

Yes here also it is comparatively costly. Seriously the price of PVP protection and Reset stats without XP loss is way Ridiculous.

PVP protection for only 1 week cost is equivalent to buying 1 level : If i have to spend money i would buy 1 level instead.

Reset stats without XP loss price is equivalent to 1 pet or even 2 levels: if i have to spend money i would buy 1 pet or 2 levels instead

I bought that Reset stats item one time thinking its a one time purchase(that it stays in our backpack for ever and we can reset as many times we want) but i found that we have to buy that again and again. so i would use that money to buy levels or pets instead that's better.
