Ptery quest repeatable?

I can't wait to get the baby ptery pet, but some players say if it dies you can't get it back.

About half of the players say the quest is not repeatable and half say that it is. About 80 percent of them say they haven't had it die yet.

Also my friend told me it's repeatable at level 800.

If you lose the ptery can a GM reset the quest? Or is it repeatable?

Not repeatable.

Mine died, I was stupid and took it into an unknown area.

So I went back to look. He was not there!
I'll fight for what I think is right!

I very much doubt it. I'm sorry to say but your pet is your responsibility. Can you imagine the number of requests for quest resets they'd get?

I don't think a GM should. I feel for players who lose the pet, but it doesn't make sense to have it repeatable as its just one injured ptery.
Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.

"Can they?" is the wrong question. They can, but that is reserved for bug fixing. "Will they?" is the correct question, and past experiences tell us "No."
