Is this for the portals around the underground city? If so, they are not jewels that are dropped but they are items.

I believe one portal needs a 150 amulet. Another is a heat ring. The last one I can't remember, but maybe a 100 amulet?

The important thing is that the amulets will state what item is needed.

I think you're right and at least one of the items is for sale in the underground shop which looks like the inside of a library.
